Has anyone else's new comic delivery been delayed a day?

Every comic shop in this place is stating that Diamons screwed up and new comics weren't shipped out on time and they "may" arrive tomorrow........

Hate that I didn't find this out until I drove the 20 minutes to the comic shop..... [img]graemlins/whatever.gif[/img]

Hell the comic shop I go to doesn't even put them out until Thursday anyway. So it looks like I get to hold onto my money for one extra day.

I have had one or two not have their deliveries make it, but not 5 in the same day in this town


Just me spouting off I guess.

I was looking forward to check out the X23 series started today, and hopefully be lucky enough to find a #1 of Phoenix End Song from last week

I was thinking of grabbing that x-23, and I got the Phoenix last week and feel very lost. I lost track of the whole Phoenix story a long time ago. Other than New X-men, and Astonishing X-men I quit the x-books shortly after Age of Apocalypse.

I thought the Phoenix Endsong was supposed to be kind of a "what if" story arc outside of all the past X-Men info.

The setup was what if the Phoenix force came too early...or something along that line.....

I want to look at the first issue before getting into it. That or I may just end up waiting for it to be out on TPB

i hate when diamond does that. its happened to me a few times. anyways, i picked up phoenix and also found it a little hard to follow but it was still cool. whats the x23 story about. i didnt go to pick up comics this week because nothing i normally get came out this week so i didnt check out x23.

What's the deal with that X-23? I saw it at the shop today and the art looked pretty decent.

X-23 is about the girl clone created from wolverine. She has claws and everything. She first appeared in NYX as a mutant hooker.

And Meg, the phoenix end song seems to be happening in line with the current X-men stories, because in the first issue cyclops is in bed with emma frost.

I didn't follow Nyx - I just am a sucker for anything that realtes to Wolverine [img]wink.gif[/img] And that is why I am wanting to grab X23

Grifter - yeah - I did some digging and found a preview of it - I think I am going to pass due to not having followed it all since before AOA

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah I'm lost with the story, but I figure it's only a mini-series so after a few issues it's over anyway.

Plus I pickup alot of stuff when it first comes out and thats why I ended up with the issue of NYX with X-23 in it, which is up to $50 now go figure.
